The strength of any
marketing is connecting what one offers with people who want that specific
service. Let me try.
My name is
Debra Heft and I operate a small non-corporate type brokerage licensed in VA,
DC & MD. I concentrate in the urban areas of metropolitan Washington, DC
and all areas near rail transportation.
I have put together this
web site for several reasons – most importantly as a way to match up with
clients who want to work with a good Realtor who will work full time on their
needs along with only a few clients at one time.
Both buying and selling
homes is not an easy affair for most people– as all the “help you sell” and
“reward/rebate commission” type programs would have you believe. This is
especially true in these times when both the internet and an influx of less
experienced real estate companies would both tempt - and have you end up with
so much… less.
Similarly, I usually see
that the whole game of playing Realtors against Realtors ends up as self
defeating for all parties involved. Customers do not respect Realtors time and
Realtors take on many customers, do a little work on each and hope for a small
percentage of successful interactions. I work with you personally:
We work together for a
mutually agreed length of time. In return you will get my almost un-divided
attention and effort. I, in turn, will make a fair commission. That is if you
include (when in Realtor appreciation mode) all the times “dead ends” mean no
paycheck. In return …we both get the much higher success rate of a
non-rushed and non-pressured approach with fewer clients competing for my time
or yours. That also means you will never feel you are taking up too much of my
time or pressured to end a phone call before your concerns are fully addressed.
So, take your pick of
Realtors– but remember…if you work with me you also won’t be dealing with a
Realtor pressured by corporate profit margins. That means I’ll be working to
find buyers the best financing and tangential services along with the best
valued home in your price range; and, For sellers the most cost effective
focused approach to assure the highest market price.

But remember, the bitterness of poor quality and value remains far longer than
the sweetness of the lowest up front savings, rebate, quick dollar in your
pocket, commission discount or other cut corner euphemism resulting in less
services and a non personalized approach.

with me or without me (needless to say, I’m fully loaded technologically!). I
